What Sauce Does Sonic Have?

Spread the love

Are you heading down to a Sonic Drive-In for a burger, sandwich, or some of their delicious chicken? Are you wondering what sauces they have available and that you can use to add flavor to your meal? Well, here are all of the different options available to you.

So, what sauce does Sonic have? Sonic offers fifteen different condiments and dipping sauces across their menu. These are Sonic Signature sauce, BBQ sauce, honey mustard, ketchup, marinara, light mayo, mustard, ranch, salsa de sonic, signature cheese sauce, sweet relish, country gravy, cream cheese frosting, and syrup.

Of course, not every condiment is going to go well with every meal.

Take the syrup, for instance.

That is not a sauce you are going to want to drizzle over your crispy tenders!

And then we have to consider that some menu items will come with sauce, already.

Take the Sonic Cheeseburger, as a prime example.

That includes mayo and ketchup, by default.

What Sauces Does Sonic Have?

Sonic Signature Sauce

Sonic’s signature sauce is a zesty, tomato-based sauce that goes well with items like Sonic’s signature sandwiches and burgers.

It has a tangy, ketchup-like flavor with a hint of spice. I like drizzling it on top of crispy tater tots!

BBQ Sauce

For a sweeter, smokier flavor, go for Sonic’s BBQ sauce.

It’s a classic barbecue sauce with a nice blend of molasses and spices.

I recommend getting it with Sonic’s barbecue sandwiches or using it as a dip for their onion rings.

Honey Mustard

Honey mustard is one of my favorite sauces, and Sonic does a good version of this sweet and savory condiment.

It tastes great with chicken tenders or hot dogs. The honey balances out the zing from the mustard perfectly.

Ketchup

Of course, good old ketchup is available at Sonic.

Their version tastes like classic tomato ketchup with a hint of extra seasoning. It’s always a solid choice for burgers and fries.

Marinara Sauce

For Italian flavor, try the marinara sauce. It tastes like a thick, herb-infused tomato sauce.

I like to order mozzarella sticks or chicken parmesan and have the marinara sauce for dipping.

Light Mayo

If you want a creamy sauce without too much richness, the light mayo is a great option.

It has a nice tang that goes well on cold sandwiches or chicken salads.

Mustard

For a zip of flavor, you can’t go wrong with regular yellow mustard at Sonic.

It has a bright vinegary taste that pairs nicely with corn dogs, pretzels, and other salty foods.

Ranch

Ranch is a go-to for dipping onion rings, fries, and other goodies.

Sonic’s ranch has the cool, tangy flavor you’d expect with notes of garlic, onion, and herbs.

It’s tasty on its own or mixed with ketchup for fry dipping.

Salsa

For a fresh, chunky sauce, try Sonic’s salsa.

It tastes like a homemade tomato salsa with onions, cilantro, and a touch of lime juice. I like to order it with tacos or chili cheese tots.

Signature Cheese Sauce

This rich, creamy cheese sauce is perfect for topping items like chili cheese dogs, fries, and more.

It’s ultra cheesy and decadent.

Sweet Relish

Sweet relish adds a nice sweetness and crunch to hot dogs and chili dogs.

Sonic’s version has crunchy bits of pickle, onion, and bell pepper in a sweet vinegar dressing.

Does Sonic Have Special Sauce?
