You’ve got a big bottle of Sriracha sauce to get through and you are struggling for inspiration of what to put it on. Besides, you do not want to ruin a meal you’ve spent time, money, and effort in making. So, I would like to give you some of my favorite recommendations of foods to pair this hot, spicy, and tangy sauce with!
So, what can you put Sriracha on? Sriracha goes with pretty much everything, so long as you enjoy the hot spicey flavor it will introduce to your meal. Although fries, omelets, pizza, burgers, noodles, and stir-fry seems to be the most common use of this sauce.
In reality, you’ll be surprised with how many foods this particular sauce goes with.
Besides, it’s often used as a dipping sauce too. So it doesn’t always go ‘on’ foods either.
But if you are not sure that you’ll like it, then check out my guide on the taste of Sriracha sauce first.
That way, at least you’ll know what to expect if you do decide to pour some on.
That being said, it’s always best to try a little first before you cake it on your meal.
Nevertheless, let me now give you some further combinations to try with this wonderfully spicy, tangy rich, and sweet sauce.
What Do You Use Sriracha Sauce On?
Sriracha sauce can be used on various different foods – either providing complimentary tastes or contrasts. It’s a very versatile sauce that can be used in various different ways.
For instance, you can use the sauce straight out of the bottle.
Or, you could mix it into another creamy sauce like mayonnaise to create a Sriracha aioli.
Talking of additions, this sauce can be added to soups or stews – from tomato soup all the way through to ramen noodles!
And lastly, you can use it as a marinade for various different fish and meats. I personally love mine glazed over steak!
Beyond this, you can try pairing it with other foods.
Below, I’d like to list some of my favorite combinations:
- Pizza,
- Burger
- Eggs Benedict,
- Avocado on Toast,
- Potato Hash,
- Bacon,
- Salads,
- Fries and Onion Rings,
- Garlic Bread,
- Grilled Cheese Sandwiches,
- Grilled Chicken Skewers,
- Shrimp,
- Lobster Tails,
- Quinoa
- Mac’n’Cheese
- Frittas,
- Rice,
- Steamed or Roasted Vegetables,
- Potatoes,
- In Cottage Cheese,
- Tofu
- Pasta,
- Sausages,

And here’s an interesting couple.
Popcorn and Ice cream.
That’s right.
Sounds gross but people love them paired too!
Finally
As you can see, Sriracha is one of the most diverse sauces out there!
You can literally use it with anything.
At least in theory.
Whether you personally like the taste is going to come down to preferences.
But do give a few of these a go.
Trust me, you’ll be surprised at how good some of them taste.
In fact, you’ll probably reach the point like me where you are using Sriracha on quite literally, everything.
And before you know it, that big-ol bottle will soon need replacing.
Just don’t put it on your clothes – it may stain, of course!
