While the recipe of the Zinger sauce is kept as a secret recipe and it is not publicly sold, you can make it at home with a simple copycat recipe. It is creamy and spicy in flavor – hence KFC’s description as “spine-tingling Zing”.

Can You Buy KFC Zinger Burger Sauce?
KFC does not sell Zinger sauce, neither in their restaurants nor via stores or online.
They do not even have packets of this sauce that they can give out, either.
In fact, the only way you are going to be able to taste Zinger sauce is either by ordering a particular menu item or by making a copycat recipe yourself.
And of course, that won’t be the original.
So the only way to get the true authentic Zinger sauce is in, you guessed it, the Zinger burger (including Zinger Tower or Zinger Stacker)
Zinger Burger Sauce Copycat Recipe
Four ingredients and ready in 2 minutes at most.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 4 Tablespoons of Ketchup
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons mustard sauce
Method
Step One: Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
Step Two: Add to the fridge for an hour before serving.
Alternatively, if you add the sauce to an airtight container or jar, you could keep this sauce and use it as and when required for up to 7 days.
The result is a creamy, zingy sauce not too dissimilar from the original.
And depending on your preferences, you can add more of any one of those ingredients up above.
Like it, a little hotter, add some more mustard.
A little sweeter, more ketchup,
A little creamier – you guessed it, that calls for more mayonnaise.

The sauce on a Zinger burger is fantastic.
But, in truth, it’s likely a combination of mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard.
That’s not taking anything away from it.
Nor do we know for sure, or even know the exact ratios for that matter.
Besides, if KFC is unwilling to share the recipe, it suggests to me it has something a little extra that gives it that famous zing!
