So, what sauce does Subway have? There are eight main sauces offered at Subway. These are Chipotle Southwest, Garlic Aioli, House Sandwich Sauce, Mustard, Ranch, Savoury Caesar, Smoky Honey Mustard, and Sweet Onion. Some locations may also offer four additional sauces: Barbecue, Buffalo, Light Mayonnaise Type Dressing, and Mayonnaise.
Now one thing to consider here is that Subways in different countries may have other sauces too.
For instance, in the UK, it is typical to see Tomato Ketchup, HP Brown Sauce, Sticky Sweet Chilli, and Sriracha too.
So just bear that in mind.
And then you have seasonings, too.
Of course, these are not sauces, but they can certainly add flavor so are good to be aware of.
The seasonings at Subway are as follows: Grated Parmesan, Cheese, Oregano, Salt, and Pepper.
Now, not all sauces will go with every sub.

In fact, I tallied the results of two polls from Reddit and a forum post respectively to find out.

Now, of course, that’s a survey on 33 people. Some of which are based in the US, others the UK.
But it does give us insight.
What Is The Most Popular Subway Sauce?
The most popular sauce at Subway is likely to be mayonnaise. However, the Chipotle Southwest is another widely popular sauce ordered at this particular sandwich chain.
Which Sauce Is Tangy In Subway?
Sweet onion is tangy in taste and is certainly the sauce to order at Subway if tanginess is what you are looking for.
Other than this, you can expect sweet onion to be rich and flavorful, you don’t need much of this sauce added to your sub!
Other than this, Subway is introducing Baja Chipotle sauce; which you can expect to be spicy, smokey, and tangy in flavor.

You have plenty of sauces to choose from at Subway.
In fact, this is one of those sandwiches restaurants that you can really experiment and mix up the tastes and flavors.
