What Does Campfire Sauce Taste Like?
Campfire sauce tastes sweet, smokey, and creamy. It’s also relatively salty. Due to its bold flavors, a little generally goes a long way.
This sauce is also relatively thick in consistency, due in part to the mayonnaise component of the sauce.
Does Red Robin Sell Campfire Sauce?
Red Robin does sell their campfire sauce. You can purchase this sauce from all the major retailers, including the likes of Walmart and Amazon.
In fact, you can even get a variety pack on Amazon, that includes several different sauces from the popular restaurant chain.
This variety pack on Amazon in particular is a great buy. It provides you with the campfire sauce, but also allows you to try the Red Robin spicy ketchup and whiskey river BBQ sauce too!
One thing to note here is that the campfire sauce used in restaurants is generally considered to be a little different from the one that they sell in their bottles.
Many customers have reported that while the bottled options do taste great, it is not quite the same as the real thing found in-restaurant.
How To Make Your Own Campfire Sauce
If you want to go ahead and make your own campfire sauce, you’ll be pleased to know that it’s actually quick, easy, and quite cheap to do.

- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup hickory smoked barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon Tabasco Chipotle Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon ground chipotle chili pepper
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Add all ingredients in a bowl and stir together well.
- Let the sauce rest for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Refirgeration is generally best and advised.
