Where To Find Sriracha Sauce In Grocery Store

Spread the love

Are you after some Sriracha sauce but don’t know where to look in the grocery store? I feel your pain! Thankfully, this should give you the direction you need.

So, where can you find Sriracha sauce in the grocery store? The most likely place to find Sriracha sauce in a grocery store is the condiment aisle, in the hot sauce section. However, it can sometimes be found in the Asian food or world food aisle depending on the store.

The truth is, the precise location of this sauce can change from store to store.

It depends on how big the grocery store is, the other foods they stock, and whether they have an international foods section.

But the condiments aisle is always worth the first look.

Or failing that and if in a particular hurry, then be sure to ask a store employee.

They should know, or at the very least, be able to put you in contact with a member of staff who does.

Or just look it up on their system.

And if you’re lucky they may even be able to walk you to the exact section.

Because it could be that this sauce is placed on promotion in a new or separate section,

It could be in multiple sections of the store.

Or it could just be out of stock on the shelf and they may even lookout back for it for you.

But what stores sell this hot sauce in the first place – let’s find out!

What Grocery Stores Sell Sriracha Sauce?

Most of the large grocery store chains will sell Sriracha sauce, with the bigger stores typically selling more brands and variations of the original recipe.

For instance, the bigger stores will likely sell extras, like Sriracha seasoning too.

And likewise, the bigger the store, the more likely they are to sell more than just the main brands, like Huy Fong or Kikkoman’s.

Generally though, here are some of the main grocery chains that sell this sauce.

  • Trader Joes
  • Walmart
  • Kroger,
  • Whole Foods,
  • Safeway
  • Costco
  • Aldi
  • Publix

Then there will be small independent stores too.

These may sell Sriracha too if you are lucky.

But it may be pricier there – just remember that.

Now, if you do not want to gamble before you head down to any store, in particular, get the number of the store and call ahead.

Other Places To Buy Sriracha Sauce

Outside of your large grocery store retail chains, the other place to look for Sriracha sauce is online.

Now for me, I personally wouldn’t look any further than Amazon.

You will find dozens of different brands there.

You have all the major favorites, and up and coming ones too.

You’ll also find Sriracha suitable for all different needs; whether you are vegan, lactose-intolerant, gluten intolerant, etc.

Plus you can look at customer reviews and see what people are saying about each sauce too.

And then there is the ability to buy several in bulk and at a discount too.

It just makes sense.

Especially if you are like me and go through a lot of this delicious hot sauce.

Finally

Sriracha sauce has exploded in popularity in recent years.

So much so that it is widely available at most grocery stores.

But where you can find it inside them is not always so easy.

The condiment aisle, in the hot sauce section, is the first place to look.

But do consider the international/Asian food section too if your store has one.

Perhaps the best thing to do is actually ask.

Call ahead if you can.

Get some reserved and put away for you even.

That way you either know the store stocks it, has some available, and you can even pick it up quicker.

Or failing that, just order it on Amazon and on prime.

You’ll have it by tomorrow at the very latest!
