Can You Buy Bottled Arby’s Sauce?
It is not possible to buy bottled Arby’s sauce. That being said, the restaurant chain did sell it for a brief period in 2013 for a limited time.
However, it appears that the company decided not to pursue this venture, and now only offers this condiment in their restaurants in individual packets.
How To Make Your Own Arby’s Sauce
The following recipe really does taste like the real thing.
If you are really short of time however; simply mix ketchup and Worcestershire sauce together in equal proportions – adjusting to your liking.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of Water
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoon Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup White Vinegar
- 3/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 3/4 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
- 3 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce (Lea and Perrins)
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- Corn Starch Mixture (1 tablespoon Corn Starch 2 tablespoon Water)
Method
Step One: Add all of the ingredients into a blender or food processor. Mix until the ingredients are thoroughly combined; 20-30 seconds.
Step Two: Add the blend to a saucepan and simmer on medium-low heat. Stir and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until warm being sure to stir occasionally.
Step Three: After 15-20 minutes, add your cornstarch mixture and stir well. Keep simmering at a low temperature for a further 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Step Four: Remove from the heat and let it cool; it should thicken further still on standing.
Step Five: Serve or add to an airtight container. Place in the fridge and keep/use for up to 5-7 days until it no longer tastes as fresh!
Finally
Arby’s sauce is nothing other than exceptional.
It’s no wonder you want to get your hands on some.
The problem is; this restaurant chain no longer sells it.
In fact, they never really have properly.
A short trial run.
And before you know it, it’s gone.
So your options are either to purchase a variation, like the Heinz 57 I recommended earlier.
Or, make it yourself.
The only other alternative is stocking up each time you go to Arby’s.
Or, head to the drive-through and ask politely for a lot.
Some people report they have had a lot of success with that method. It’s worth a try, I suppose.
